Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in is after 4pm. Check-out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.

Property Access

  • Mountain View Lodge is located at The Park section of the gated community, The Lodges at Eagles Nest.
  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. Those are for member use only.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc.com.
  • The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend. However, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge.

Policies and Rules

  • This home is pet friendly for up to 2 mature, well-trained, non-aggressive dogs. Pet rent is $25/night per dog.
  • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Fees and Payments

  • Pet rent is $25/night per dog (up to 2 mature, well-trained, non-aggressive dogs).
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25 each.
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests; there is an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
  • All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the amenities.
  • Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (Nov-March).

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas may not have cell reception.
  • All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a starter set of paper products: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few dishwasher tablets, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. These items are enough for one or two nights. Hair dryers are not provided. Towels and linens are provided.
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
  • Amenities available include: Great Camp (BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater, Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course), 24/7 General Store, North Pavilion (Ball Field, Sportsman's Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail), Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun, hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking), Camp (Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disk Golf, Archery - BYO Equipment), Vineyard (Food and Wine served). Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon.
  • Eagles Nest Winery hours: Thur & Fri 4pm-10pm; Sat & Sun 1pm-7pm. All visitors at the winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • This homeowner uses an outdoor security camera at the front porch to monitor their home and ensure it remains safe. Cameras are switched off during guest visits. No cameras are inside the home.
  • Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday, as Eagles Nest is a developing community, with construction currently going on in several neighborhoods.
